Committee Goals:

1. Continue increase in the number of EDAC scholarship applicants

2. Explore the possibility of inviting a workshop presenter to the 2008 WASFAA conference who will speak about issues of diversity

3. Explore diversity-related topics to be considered as workshop sessions for the 2008 WASFAA conference

4. Work with Diversity Action chairs of each state organization regarding their goals and activities for this year – align with goals and activities of WASFAA EDAC committee

Ashlie DeCambra, HI - $598 (registration, per diem)

Oscar Verduzco, WA - $551 (registration, per diem)

Kathy Imasaki, NV - $551 (registration, per diem)

None to report at this time as the committee members have not been presented to the WASFAA EC for approval. The following names will be submitted for review and approval:

Unsure of expenditures to date as current WASFAA budget does not yet reflect expenses for 2007 WASFAA Conference or 2007 Summer Institute scholarship recipients

None at this time other than to retain the past committee chair on the committee for the sake of continuity
