To whom this may concern,
The purpose of this cover letter today is to apply for your strength and conditioning position. I was made aware of this position through the indeed website. Your outstanding program and faculty are extremely impressive and clearly stand out above the rest in advancing the field of sports nutrition. The credentials and experience presented in the resume demonstrate the experience I have in Dietetics. While working with professionals in the field, Dr. DeNysschen, Dr. Mertens, Coach Young, Coach Nelson and coach Pyszczynski have given me the tools to counsel, prepare, measure, develop and fuel athletes.
As an intern performing clinical rotations, I will have completed a bachelor’s in dietetics and nutrition in May of 2015, along with finishing the 1,200. I have since passed my registration exam and I am currently finishing my masters in Human Performance and Wellness. It would be an honor to give back to the athletes and your program. Providing the best available resources is what I strive to bring to the table to give your athletes the best possibility to succeed in their respected sport(s).
I can bring to you program a multitude of attributes that would fit with your goal in working with your athlete’s coaches, personnel and other professionals. The references and resume demonstrate the qualifications for the position are met and an interview should be put into place to see if I am a fit for your organization. A phone, Skype or any fashion of interview would be accepted. It’s greatly valued that you took the time to look at my resume and references. After going through your review process I feel that given my experience and talents I would be a great addition to your program and would like to continue to build on the outstanding success that you’re program has to offer.
Sincerely,
Shawn Pitcher
