- Degree Works (DW) Refresh Demo – Freeman
- Registrar has been refreshing DW regularly
- May 1 – advisors can refresh instantly
- For advisors –
- Step 1 click refresh button – pings off of Banner
- Check Last Refresh to see it was updated to current time
- Step 2 click Process New
- See Last audit – should be Today
- Will not work if both steps are not performed in order
- Most useful on Orientation/Registration day
- Advisors can process by themselves
- DW already checks for changes and will continue to do so
- Don’t use it just to get the newest info, if DW has refreshed recently
- If it has not been refreshed in over a week, let Registrar know
- Currently refreshes at midnight, 5:00am, 8:00am, Noon, 4:00pm, 10:00pm
- AAC 2017-2018 Budget
- Melinda working with Paul to create new budget

- Currently money is distributed from Undergraduate Studies

- CHHS had lots of curriculum changes that caused troubles
- Why is registration in April?
- Difficulties with Financial Aid and applying for summer aid
- Students are concerned in February
- Courses availability – department make decisions on course scheduling
- Early it is rolled out, the rest accurate
- Curriculum change process to get through is difficult in shorter timeline
- This year slow because of major changes in US, CSB and CHHS
- Growth at UNCW
- AAC can be an advocate for change
- Freeman will ask in Registrar team meeting for other input
