Attended inset on phonics and grammar and moderation and observed 2 more experienced teachers and applied knowledge gained in own teaching.
Have spent more time with TA looking at how she works with groups and identifying next steps so she is clearer about how to support.
Have also held 1.1 sessions with pupils re their targets and how to achieve them.
Writing wall created to encourage writing. / 96% of pupils met the
Targets set for them, and 20% exceeded the targets.
1 lesson was judged to be satisfactory (1st term) , 2 were good.

Pupils interviewed were able to talk more knowledgeably about their progress and next steps.
