St. Patrick’s Day Parade
This year's parade will be Sunday March 13, 2016
The Theme of the 2016 parade is: ST. PATRICK, BLESS THE HEROS OF THE1916 EASTER RISING.
2016 Grand Marshal is Paul Doris
Mass @ Division 39 at 9:30 am. Buses and trolley will leave after Mass. Badges and pro life roses on sale. Parade kicks off at 20th & JFK Boulevard at noon.

LAOH Division 39 will begin rolling on Friday night and then continue again on Saturday, this has worked out really well over the last few years. Please come out and support our ladies and roll some Irish potatoes.

A.O.H. Junior Division
The purpose of the Junior AOH is to enlighten young men between the ages of 8 and 16 years of age about the role of the AOH within the community and promoting our Irish heritage and the Roman Catholic faith using the AOH motto of; Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity.

All honor guard meetings are held after our monthly division meetings. Members of the honor guard are encouraged to attend both meetings.
A member of the Honor Guard is a person who plays a responsible role for both the AOH and LAOH Division 39; should be available for all appropriate functions as requested by National, State, County, Division, and members such as division communion and Saint Patrick Day masses; should take part in parades with the division; should present the Flag(s) in a respectful and appropriate manner; and shall have members assist as needed, attending funerals, weddings, conventions, etc.
The Honor Guard is always looking for member’s that wish to be an active part of our time honored tradition here at the 39.
Are you who we are looking for?
· You must be 18 years or older
· A member in good standing
· Attend monthly meetings
· Commit to practices and participate in official functions
· To wear our uniform one must be committed and be able to participate in functions such as Funerals, Parades and Irish Events.

Irish Easter Rising Centennial
This committee was organized in the U.S. by citizens who are concerned for the honored memory of those Irishmen and Irishwomen who declared the right of the people of Ireland to the ownership of Ireland. The committee has planned educational events and programs leading up to the 100th anniversary of the 1916 Irish Easter Rising, taking place on Sunday, April 24, 2016.
