Once the report file has been downloaded from the NuclearIQ® website, save it to the report directory within NuclearIQ®. Then setup a new report by clicking the Add button and naming the new report. As stated before, the report uses SystemType or SystemName to retrieve the data. Time Frame Adjustment:
The Data Validation Report returns unvalidated results for the previous 90 days. If it is desired to change the time frame follow these steps.
- Open the Report Designer within NuclearIQ®. (Note: you must have report writer privileges within NuclearIQ® to use the Designer) To see your privileges, open the User Security screen by clicking Admin->Security->Users. Type in your User Name at the top of the screen and view the assignment below.
- Open the report designer by clicking the ‘Create Report File’ on the report screen
- In the Report Designer, open the Data Validation Report by clicking the ‘File’ dropdown and selecting the Data Validation Report for opening. When the file opens, click on the ‘Edit Data Source’ in the lower right hand corner.
- The Report Data Source screen will open and display the connection string. In the graphic box below is the DATEADD function. Change the -90 (previous 90 days) to the desired timeframe (-30 for previous month, -365 for previous year). Keep in mind, the longer the timeframe, the longer it will take to generate the report. If you change the field to previous 10 years (-3650) then the report might time out and not generate at all.
- Once the time frame has been changed, click the ok button.
- Next, double click the Report Title and change the Title to display the appropriate time frame.
- Once this is complete, click the save button and close the Report Designer.
When the report designer closes you will need to close the report screen in NuclearIQ® and reopen to ensure the new version of the report is loaded and used to retrieve data.
