This agreement between Buyer(s) and Briar Ridge Puppies lists the terms of a transaction for the sale of above named puppy.

Terms and Conditions:

This puppy, to the best of the Seller's knowledge, is in good health and free of any communicable diseases at time of sale. Puppy will be current on vaccinations and worming at time of release to above listed Buyer(s). Validation of this guarantee requires examination of puppy by the Veterinarian of Buyer's choice at Buyer's expense within 72 hours of receiving this puppy.

Failure to have veterinary exam within 72 hours voids this contract. Buyer(s) must have proof of this visit.

Briar Ridge Puppies guarantees puppy until 1 year old against all life threatening congenital or hereditary defects. Upon examination, should puppy be found to have any life threatening congenital and/or hereditary defect, the Seller agrees that buyer can return the puppy, all papers, registration applications, and signed document from their Veterinarian to Seller immediately at Buyer's expense. Once Seller receives possession of puppy and all required documents, Buyer(s) may choose a replacement puppy of equal value from any of our up coming litters, subject to availability. You must pay the difference in price if you desire a more expensive puppy (Our prices are subject to change and are adjusted according to sex, size, age, and coloring of puppies.) No cash refunds are given at any time. Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost of replacement puppy.

In the event of death (within one year of age), a licensed Veterinarian mustperform an autopsy to determine cause of death at Buyer's expense. The report from autopsy must be sent to Briar Ridge Puppies to be reviewed by our attending Veterinarianin order to receive replacement. If the death is determined by our Veterinarian to be from a congenital or hereditary defect, a replacement puppy will be given. You may choose a replacement puppy of equal value from any of our up coming litters, subject to availability. You must pay the difference in price if you desire a more expensive puppy (Our prices are subject to change and are adjusted according to sex, size, age, and coloring of puppies.) No cash refunds are given at any time. Buyer must pay all shipping costs for replacement puppy.

Seller is not responsible for any Veterinarian bills or expenses Buyer(s) may incur regarding said puppy. This guarantee does NOT cover Hypoglycemia, coccidiosis, giardia, hernias, etc… only life threatening congenital or hereditary defects. Puppy is being sold as a pet and shall not be bred.

We will not be responsible for contagious disease contracted after pup has left our care.

Because of the quality and variety of dog foods available and all canine illness are not covered by vaccination we recommend you keep your pet on a good diet and Buyer must provide Veterinary care to insure continued good health. Proof of Vet visits at least every 12 months will be required for any replacement puppy.

Dysplasia Guarantee

In the unlikely event thatone of ourpuppies is suspected of being dysplastic in its first two years, this is the procedure to follow:

Notify Briar Ridge Puppies by phone or letter.

Submit the dog’s x-ray to The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals or PennHip. If either of these finds the puppy/dog to be "severely Dysplastic” then to qualify for a replacement, we must receive a letter from your Veterinarian stating that the puppy has not been overfed for it’s height/structure, (Large Breed Puppy food for the first two years) has received regular check-ups, (Minimum of one (1) Vet visit every 12 months.) and dog has not been over exercised during their growth period (until 2 years), which is running with or jumping the dog excessively in play and must still be with the original owner. Send this along with the puppy being returned, all papers and registration applications at Buyers expense. You may then choose a replacement puppy of equal value from any of our up coming litters, subject to availability. You must pay the difference in price if you desire a more expensive puppy (Our prices are subject to change and are adjusted according to sex, size, age, and coloring of puppies.) No cash refunds are given at any time. Buyer(s) must pay all shipping costs for replacement puppy.

This contract contains the entire agreement between Seller and Buyer(s). No statement, promises, or inducements made by either party not contained in written contract shall be valid or binding. This contract may not be modified or altered.

Buyer(s) has received a copy of this contract. Buyer(s) has read, understands, and accepts the terms of this contract. Buyer(s) understands that by signing this contract it is legal and binding by the laws of Pennsylvania and shall be resolved under Pennsylvania law.
