In attendance: Paula Amols, Tim Bruce, Cody Duncan, Rachel Jackson, Alex List

Paula reminded everyone about the Chinese New Year Dinner the next night, and about the special Valentine’s Day dinner on Feb. 14th.

Requests for grilled cheese and tomato soup. Tim said they have had tomato soup on days when serving grilled cheese, but he will try putting it at the Mongo, where the grilled cheeses are made, to make sure students see it;

Students want the brisket again, they really loved it. Tim will check to see where on the menu cycle it is, but it is due to be served again;

Request for fettuccine alfredo. Paula and Tim said alfredo sauce is a regular offering at the dinner pasta bar, so were wondering if students wanted a complete dish, e.g. with chicken;

Request for bean burritos.

Complaint that the last few nights at the pizza station pizzas haven’t been cooked through or cut correctly. Tim will check, and if necessary, there will be some retraining;

Students are liking the changes to the bbq sauce on the rodeo burger, and loved the KY Hot Brown, also liked the chicken fried steak although it was a tad too salty;

Request for more of the red velvet ice cream at Fast Track, it goes fast(update: our distributor no longer carries that flavor, Tim will see if he can get it somewhere else);

Want more of the mint chocolate chip ice cream in Winslow;

Loved the Thanksgiving meal last semester;

Thanks for the pears;

Some problems at Stampede: they’ve been getting orders wrong, boxes have been delivered upside down, names incorrect, and cheese bread smashed. Tim will investigate;

Need to retrain the people making quesadillas, they’re more rolled than flat;

On the cappuccino machine, replace the white chocolate flavor with plain cappuccino—Tim will see what’s available;

On 1/30 the Pony Express got some orders wrong;

Suggestion to put granola back on the yogurt bar. Tim explained that it is still available but was moved over to the cereal bar, along with the peanut butter and Nutella. Those items don’t require refrigeration, so it made room on the yogurt bar for more items;

Lots of compliments for the parfait bar;

Some problems with menus on myGate not always being correct; Paula will talk to person who posts them to make sure she is getting up to date information;

Love the s’mores pizza;

A request for the pesto pizza again at Stampede. Tim said it hadn’t been very popular but it could be offered as a special(update: it is available as an LTO this week);

Can Fast Track get plain Butterfingers in, it currently just has the peanut butter version. Tim will check on this;

A request for cream of asparagus soup in T-Room;

Love the pop-up dinners in Winslow. Paula said there would probably be one in March after Spring Break.

Next meeting is Thursday, Feb. 16th(due to Valentine’s Day being on the Tuesday).
