Litchfield Park Rotary Club

“We’re all about people”

Club History

Our Beginning

A small group of Rotarians began meeting during the summer of 2006 with a desire to charter a new Rotary Club to serve the communities of the Southwest Valley. The group met 7am Friday mornings at the Grille at the Wigwam.

The proposed Rotary Club of Litchfield Park met the requirements established by Rotary International for new clubs. Mr. Bill Kelleher, a Rotarian with the Glendale Kachina Rotary Club was appointed as Special Representative by District 5490 Governor Marian Gill and the Club received Provisional Status on October 9, 2006.

The Litchfield Park Rotary Club received its Charter on December 4, 2006 and the 30 Charter Members included 10 Past Presidents, 14 Paul Harris or Multiple Paul Harris Fellows and over 230 years of combined Rotary Experience.

The Club’s focus its first year was on establishing a solid financial and membership foundation from which to grow.
