DIRECTIONS TO THE TEST SITE

From Rhode Island:

I-95 north toward Boston, crossing into Mass. Merge onto Route 495 S which is exit 6 toward Cape Cod. Take exit 8 onto Route 138 S toward Taunton. About 1 mile take a Left onto Center (Gas Station on corner). Go to Traffic Lights and take the 2nd Left onto Terrier Way. Go to the bottom of Hill and park on gravel.

From Boston:

93 S / 1 S. Merge onto Route 24 S which is exit 4. Take exit 15 onto Route 104 W toward Raynham. Follow Route 104 S to Traffic Light. As you take the Left @ the Traffic Light, take a Left onto Terrier Way. Go to the bottom of Hill and park on gravel.

Pet Policies change constantly. Please verify when making your reservations that these establishments will accept your dogs.

Please remember that we are guests at the test site, motels and campgrounds. Cleaning up after your dogs is more than a nice gesture. A report that an exhibitor at this test has abused motel/campground property during this weekend may result in disciplinary action by the club.

Clean up supplies will be available at the secretary’s desk.

These tests are opened to eligible breeds, 6 months of age or older that have been individually registered with the AKC, recorded with the Foundation Stock Service (FSS), individually registered with a foreign or domestic registry organization whose pedigrees are acceptable for AKC registration, or dogs of an eligible breed that have been granted a Purebred Alternative Listing (PAL/ILP). A dog with an AKC Limited Registration shall be eligible to be entered in Earthdog tests, as are spayed and neutered dogs. For a complete list of eligible breeds, visit

Tests Offered

Introduction to Quarry (non-regular class with no credit toward titles)

Regular Classes: Junior Earthdog, and Senior Earthdog.

Dogs that have earned a Master Earthdog title may compete in any class. Dogs may enter one regular class and one non-regular class.

Dogs entered by the closing date that qualify to enter a different test than the one on the entry form may change that entry by contacting the Test secretary by 9:30 AM on the day the sanction test. Bitches in season may not be entered. Entry fee will be refunded for bitches in season with Veterinarian certification.

JUDGING SCHEDULE

A competitor briefing for each level will be held 15 minutes before the start of each class.

Introduction to Quarry – Judging to begin at 10:00 A.M.

Junior Test – Judging to begin at 11:00 A.M.

Senior Test – Judging will follow the completion of Junior

Please check in at the Secretary’s table when you arrive, or at least 30 minutes before your class, in order to receive your number(s).

NOTE TO EXHIBITORS

  • No Bitches in season are allowed. Refunds will be made to pre-entered bitches that come in season after the closing date when accompanied by a certificate stating such from a Veterinarian
  • NO FLEXI-LEADS ALLOWED.
  • All Dogs must be leashed or confined when not running in a test
  • Please leave the grounds cleaner than you found them upon your arrival

RIBBONS AND AWARDS

The NETC offers a dark green ribbon to each dog that qualifies.

The NETC offers a “Rat” dog toy to each dog that receives a NEW Title.

Ann Schliemann offers a dog toy to each Russell Terrier which qualifies in the Regular Classes.

Glencoe Farm will offer a dog toy to each Fox Terrier, (Smooth & Wire), which qualifies in the Regular Classes and Introduction to Quarry.

Donna Masson will offer a dog toy to each Border Terrier which qualifies in the Regular Classes and Introduction to Quarry.

Louise Papadoyiannis will offer a dog toy to each Australian Terrier which qualifies in the Regular Classes and Introduction to Quarry.
