Effective Fall 2006, the new name for the Humanities and Social Science major is Liberal Arts. Current majors in Humanities and Social Science who matriculated before Fall 2006 can either continue in the Humanities and Social Science program as outlined in the 2003-2006 MCCC catalog OR can change to the new Liberal Arts curriculum.

Liberal Arts majors can, if they wish, select one of the following concentrations:
