In 1968 the Texas Poultry Federation initiated the Golden Feather Award. This award is presented annually during the Texas Poultry Convention to someone who has “gone beyond the call of duty” for the benefit of the Texas poultry industry. I was fortunate enough to be named the recipient in 2010 and am chairman of the committee this year.
I know that many are deserving of this honor. You know those whom you think should receive this award. The only way someone can be considered is through our nomination process. Return the nomination form naming the person you feel has contributed most to our industry and is most deserving of this prestigious award.
