- at the May 27th Meeting it was decided that the secretary should contact Flanagan Tree Service to
survey the deadelm tree situation between concessions 27/28 and concessions 24/25 and give us a quote
on cutting themdown. Ray reported that there were 53 groups of dead elms. He suggested that they top
them leaving 8 to 10ft of thetrunk (for habitat) and dropping the branches along side but well away
from the trail itself. To helpsupport theTrailway he quoted us $1,600.00.
A Motion was put forward that upon a written quote for $1,600.00 (plus tax) we hire Flanagan’s TreeService to top the dead elms between Concessions 27/28 to Concessions 24/25.
