To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to invite you to be a part of the New Century Middle School Career Fair. The Career Fair will be held at New Century Middle School on Thursday, January 19th, 2017.
This year’s Career Fair is student-run. Our 8th grade Business classes are working together to plan and coordinate this event as their semester project. They are learning about various careers and career activities, and decided to host the Career Fair when they asked about what the people in various careers really do each day. Their teacher asked them how they could find out, and they decided upon a Career Fair. Their teacher and sponsor is Marissa Grooms.
Your participation in our Career Fair will provide our eighth grade students with their first glimpse at some of the career choices that are available to them after high school and college. We hope that your company will participate in our event.
Set up time for exhibitors will be from 9:00-9:30 a.m. Please feel free to bring advertising items to pass out to students (brochures and promotional items). We welcome any interactive activities or tools that will give students insight into your profession. Please be prepared with a short description of what you do each day, including education requirements to begin a career in your field. Approximately 200 students will attend, though all may not visit you.
