Our hunt test was a huge success thanks to all the club members who came out and helped! Once again we can be very proud of our club.
A Recipe for Your Dog
CARIBBEAN CANINE COOLERS
This recipe is a great use for bananas that are getting a little mushy ... the dogs won't mind!
YIELDS: 3 cups, or 42 ice cubes
3 cups plain yogurt
1 cup shredded, unsweetened coconut flakes
1 tablespoon blackstrap molasses
1 large mango, peeled
2 bananas, peeled
1. Toss all of your ingredients in a blender and blend for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
2. Pour mixture into ice cube trays or small plastic tubs and freeze for a cool island treat for you or your dog!
Most Fruits Are Cool for Canines ......
You can always substitute other fruits (just never grapes or raisins!)
and you can leave out the unsweetened coconut flakes if you don't have any on hand.
Our WC/AWC Tests will be held on Sunday Oct 9th at the Rochelle Conservation Area. Anyone interested in helping or running a dog should contact Earl Thomas.

Dunn's Marsh Cinderella Story RN finished her Junior Hunter title at the WLRC Hunt Test 8/6 and earned an extra leg there 8/7. Ella now also has 3 UKC Started passes!
GR CH Honorbright Summer Blonde Ale JH RE AX MJXP NAF RATO WC finished her Senior Barn Hunt title 8/13 at Sheboygan Dog Training Club.

Sommit’s Gone With The Wind CGC WC, aka Zephyr, earned his JH at the WLRC Hunt Test on Aug 7th. He is bred, owned and trained by Linda Waco and Sue Sommer and handled by Linda.
