ADCTDN2412 True Day Night Color Camera
1.0Description
The product specified shall be a one third inch high-resolution color digital CCD camera with removable IR cut filter to provide true Day/Night functionality
2.0Features
2.1The camera shall incorporate a 1/3-inch CCD array with interline transfer and utilize Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to produce no less than 540 TV lines of horizontal resolution. The CCD array active pixel count must be no less than 768 (H) x 494 (V) for NTSC and 752 (H) x 582 (V) for PAL.
2.2The camera shall provide automatic gain control (AGC) to assure it will operate in a wide range of lighting conditions using manual iris lenses
2.3The camera shall be capable of switching between color (day) and monochrome (night) modes by moving the infrared cut filter. The filter may be operated manually or automatically by detecting reduced light levels. The camera shall provide an output indicating when the filter has been activated
In day mode the camera must produce usable video with a f/1.2 lens, AGC enabled and scene illumination of 0.4 lux.
In night mode the camera must produce usable video with a f/1.2 lens, AGC enabled and scene illumination of 0.02 lux.
2.4The camera must accept either C or CS mount lenses without the use of an adapter ring.
2.5The camera must provide internal synchronization or external 360°, phase adjustable line-lock synchronization for “roll-free” switching.
2.6The camera must provide compatible output for both DC-type and video-type auto iris lenses. The camera must automatically detect the type of lens fitted.
2.7The camera must provide automatic adjustment of White Balance to compensate for a range of lighting sources and conditions. The camera shall provide the following methods of White Balance adjustment:
Automatic Tracking White Balance (ATW) that allows the camera to constantly adjust for optimal color reproduction.
Extra wide Automatic Tracking White Balance (ATW wide) providing compensation over a wider range of color temperatures.
A non-tracking (AWC) mode that allows a one-touch automatic adjustment. This mode will incorporate a manual mode that allows subsequent manual gain adjustment of red and blue.
2.8The camera shall provide an Automatic Electronic Shutter (AES) feature that will compensate for excessive light levels when using fixed or manual iris lenses
2.9The camera shall provide a backlight compensation feature that can be used to eliminate the effect of an area of strong background lighting in a scene. This feature will accommodate four selectable zones.
2.10The camera shall incorporate on-screen menu display for easy programming (such as camera titles)
2.11The camera shall provide a method for holding the iris open on auto-iris lenses to allow for easy and accurate focus adjustment during installation(Focus adjust mode).
2.12The camera shall provide video output that is optimized for either a CRT monitor (analog) or an LCD monitor (digital). This setting shall be menu selectable.
2.13The camera shall provide a built-in white spot compensation function. (Advanced pixel correction)
2.14The factory default settings shall be such that the camera will generate a reasonable quality video signal under typical lighting conditions.
2.15The camera shall provide a connector that can provide either an auxiliary input or an auxiliary output. The auxiliary output function will provide digital output indicating the state of the IR cut filter. The auxiliary input shall provide a method to override the automatic switching from Color to B&W mode.
2.16The camera shall allow for user setting of Shutter speed (Manual shutter mode) as well as an automatic setting.
2.17The camera must have a signal to noise ratio of 50dB or better.
2.18The camera body must have embedded provisions to mount a ¼” x20 thread on either the top or bottom without having to relocate a mounting shoe.
2.19The camera shall be powered by either 24VAC(±20%, 50/60Hz), 12VDC (±10%) or 230VAC (±10V, 50/60Hz)
2.20The camera shall be an American Dynamics ADCTDN2412N (NTSC), ADCTDN2412P (PAL), ADCTDN0230P (PAL) or equivalent.
