DVC Field Trip to

December 5, 2008

Pixar Animation Studios is well known for its immense contributions to the world of computer animation. As part of the DVC Calculus Field Trips Project, we have been invited to bring a small group (10 people) to visit their studios and learn about the role that math (especially linear algebra) plays in their work.

We will be visiting them from 10:30 – 11:30am at their studio in Emeryville:

Pixar Animation Studios

1200 Park Avenue

Emeryville, California 94608

Telephone: 510 922-3000

Drive onto their campus, get a name tag, park in visitor parking, and walk down the path to the front atrium. We will be met at reception by our host Brian Rosen. Please aim to be there a few minutes early. If you get lost or have any trouble, call Karen Edwards (trip facilitator) at (510) 848-4653.
