Pre-reservation - Order Process

Two easy steps to request a European Delivery vehicle:

  • Step 1 - Enter your vehicle request into DCSNet order bank (Priority “R”)
  • Step 2 - Fill out Pre-reservation request to inform BMW NA of your customer and requested delivery date

Please complete both steps simultaneously otherwise your order can not be processed.

Step 1:Have your Sales Manager enter your vehicle request into DCSNet order bank. This is same process as for domestic customer sold vehicle requests.

  • Access DCSNet Sales and select Entry/modify
  • On the Order Entry Screen, enter the vehicle request

-Select priority code R-Tourist Reserved

-Select the next first available production week; European Delivery will change the production week accordingly to meet the delivery date.

-Click on “Next”

-Select vehicle specifications

-Enter the following:

Customer’s last and first name

Client Advisor’s name

Click on “Submit Modification”

  • BMW NA will retrieve the order bank request the next day and send you a reservation confirmation via e-mail within 48 hours.

Step 2:Please complete the below pre-reservation form and fax the typed form to 201-307-9320.

  • It is important that we receive:

-A valid customer address for the Welcome Package mailing.

-Three different delivery dates in case of non availability

It is very important that we receive the completed pre-reservation form and a vehicle request in your order bank to complete the order process. Without these two steps completed,we can not transfer the unit to priority “0”; it will remain in the order bank and as a result, jeopardize your customer’s delivery date.

Allocation: Please note that European Delivery vehicle requests will come out of the European Delivery allocation and not from your center’s allocation, unless you inform us otherwise.
