  1. Subject

The subject of this agreement is the non-commercial usage of digital spatial data provided by the canton of Basel-City by the service consumers.

  1. Research Project

The service consumers shall be entitled to use the related spatial data of the canton of Basel-Stadt for the activities under the project below.

Project Description: The AR-4-Basel projectestablishes a framework in which creative professionals using Augmented Reality tools can push the envelope of what has been done in Smart Cities with 3D and 2D data sets and to showcase the first generation of mobile AR services that are available to the public in Basel with smartphones during an event on the eve of the ISMAR conference October 26-29 2011. This project coordinates resources in the city of Basel, and internationally for the purpose of demonstrating how real world mobile AR services implemented on the basis of open city data can bring value to citizens and visitors of the city.

Expected Results: Mobile AR services with high accuracy and low latency.

  1. Data layers, perimeter, and costs

The service provider provides the service consumer the following basic geodata in the standard treatment[cp2]:

As a consequence of the canton of Basel-City serving in the role of an AR-4-Basel project partner, there will be no cost for data processing and data sharing within and amongst the research project partners.

  1. Terms of Use

a) All rights remain with the GVA data of the votes.[cp4]

b) The use of the listed records or parts thereof in or derived form for other purposes, which in point.2 are not listed, is not allowed under the terms of this agreement. A new/separate agreement is required.

c) All graphical and electronic products that use in accordance with Section 3-related geo-data space as a reference, must bear the following copyright notice:

d) As part of clause.2 above, the intended use must be distributed to third parties related spatial data services company.[cp5]Compliance with the terms and conditions by service providers is to ensure contractual arrangements.The service consumers must indicate the sharing of spatial data related to service the company GVA.[cp6]

  1. Final Provisions

a) The provisions of the federal and canton of Basel-Stadt for the use of geodata and the enforcement of copyrights.

b) The service consumers committed to this agreement and the terms and conditions for the employees, and enforce any third party or service companies.A violation of this agreement also has the exclusion of any liability for the accuracy of spatial data in order.

d) The contract will be executed in two copies.Each party will receive a fully executed copy of the agreement.
