Open Rank Professor, Epidemiology & Biostatistics(Log#18-107 A&B)
The School of Public Health is seeking outstanding public health/epidemiology scholars to join the faculty of a multi-disciplinary graduate public health program with emphasis in urban health research, epidemiologic research, applied public health, health policy, and community applications. The incumbent will be expected to coordinate and teach graduate courses in Epidemiology, and provide academic and research advisement to graduate students.
An earned doctorate in Epidemiology/Public Health with advanced analytic skills, and a focus on epidemiologic methods, infectious diseases, chronic disease, prevention science and other fields that have general bearing on Public Health. For persons in related fields, advanced training in epidemiology is required. Candidates must have demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and developing a research program in the area of expertise, as well as the ability to contribute to the University and profession through service activities.
