Silver Plume Productions, producers of Sara’s Weeknight Meals, is a five year-old company that has carved a niche of award-winning lifestyle and documentary programming. With a seasoned staff with experience at every major broadcast and cable network, Silver Plume currently has three daily shows airing with over 200 hours of original programming.
Currently on Food Network…the triple Emmy winning Easy Entertaining with Michael Chiarello, Quick Fix Meals with Robin Miller and annually All Star Thanksgiving Special and on the DIY Network…Home Made Easy.
In addition to Sara’s Weeknight Meals, Silver Plume has a new reality cooking series, Rescue Chef, premiering on Food Network in March 2008, as well as a financial series for couples, For Love or Money, premiering on Fine Living Network in the fourth quarter of 2008.

Natalie has a resumé that reads like TV Guide. She has produced Emmy, Peabody and ratings- winning shows with some of the giants in the business: Oprah Winfrey, Diane Sawyer, Peter Jennings, Hugh Downs, Charles Gibson and Martha Stewart, as well as countless celebrities and has delivered hundreds of hours of television for clients including ABC, CBS, PBS, Food Network, Lifetime, A&E, ESPN, TBS, Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart, National Geographic, and Paramount.
Natalie has won the Emmy® two years in a row for directing Easy Entertaining. And proving that award-winning directing delivers award-winning performances, Michael Chiarello won the Emmy for Best Service Show host.
Matthew Shapiro

Matt is an accomplished creative executive with experience spanning network, syndication, cable, local television and new media. For years, he helped decide what programs played on stations across the country and is recognized for his understanding of audience tastes, for increasing ratings, and for the proven ability to win the battles for the heads, hearts, eyeballs, and wallets of the audience. Matt has run two start-ups, served as a director of a public company, and been Vice President Network Development for NBC, Corporate Vice President Programming & Marketing at MMT, Program Director for KRON-TV, and Senior Producer at ABC. He is also an Emmy® and Peabody winning producer who created the first access reality series for ABC.
Adrienne Hammel
Senior Producer
Adrienne has 15 years experience producing lifestyle television, including such shows as Quick Fix Meals, Real Simple, B. Smith with Style, Home Made Easy, Everyday Elegance with Colin Cowie, It’s a Surprise with Marc Summers and Our Home. She’s also produced several one-hour specials for Food Network and an HGTV pilot with Katie Brown.
On the reality front, Adrienne received two daytime Emmy® nominations while producing A Baby Story for TLC. Adrienne actually lives lifestyle television. She and her husband Ed enjoy cooking and entertaining and on weekends can often be spotted at Home Depot, picking up materials for weekend projects. Her areas of expertise range from cooking to home décor, gardening and helpful household hints.
Kate Rohmann
Director of Operations, Coordinating Producer
For over 8 years at Food Network, MTV & VH1, Kate managed every type of television production…in the studio and in the field…from large-scale award shows to multi-camera studio shows to ENG remotes…with budgets as high as two million dollars. Her credits include MTV Video Music Awards, Before They Were Rock Stars, The Tom Green Show, Molto Mario, FoodNation, My Country My Kitchen and Grillin’ & Chillin’.
