In general the troop camps an average of once per month. The camping is a mix of local camping and hiking with in a 45 minute range of Lower Providence, and some trips of greater magnitude, such as white water rafting on the Yougheny River in Pittsburg. We rotate our week long summer camp locations each year according to what the scouts want to accomplish each year. In 2009 we are going to camp in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. The camp is called Massawepie Scout Camp. We also are currently planning on sending two crews to the Philmont Scout Reservation in 2010 for a high adventure trip.

The Troop Committee meets the 4th Wednesday of each month, and all parents are encouraged to attend. These meetings start at 7:30 PM and end before 9:00 PM.

Parents should expect to participate and support at least one event per year. We have a dedicated group of leaders and would like to have you join us.

Annual dues are collected in March/April of each year, and are currently $40 per boy, with a $5 discount if more than one boy per family is in our troop. Please make all checks payable to Troop 267, BSA
