Rookies should have standard motors with restricter plates and ages 5-9.
Junior 1 should be standard motors.
Grp 1 a should also be standard motors.
All senior drivers should be a min weight of 75-80 kg no need to weigh karts I don't think just drivers.
Specific rule changes should be raised and voted on at drivers briefing not just left up to the committee and those who can attend meetings.

ITEM 1
I put forward this rule change to avoid discrimination for competitors in the transition from being a junior competitor to becoming senior competitor. Some of the club’s junior competitors have been racing for quite a few years and there is a greater possibility of them losing interest in the sport especially at this period in their lives with many more distractions and responsibilities becoming a part of their lives. The club needs to do everything possible to keep their interest in the sport.
Junior Competitors
9.2.2 Defined as between the ages of 6 and 16 years. A person who is 16 years of age at the commencement of racing season but will turn 17 years old before the end of the year’s race season
is recommended to start in the Senior Group racing applicable to their race times.
If a competitor turns 16 during a race season, the competitor’s parent/guardian may apply in writing to the executive committee for permission for the competitor to compete in senior racing when they have reached the age of 16.
If due to a competitor’s birthday and/or management committee requirements or authorization, they move form junior racing to senior racing mid-season, they will carry over their points from junior racing into their group in senior racing as per the formula and requirements laid out in rules 24.3, 24.4 and 24.5.
ITEM 2
I found this anomaly in the reference to the engine specification tables in the rules. This may have already been fixed in another review.
10.2 You may make modifications to your engine as long as any modifications remain compliant with the
Engine Rules listed as follows:
· Clause 11 for Rookies (Novice) and Junior 1
· Clause 12 for Junior 2
· Clause 13 for Junior 3
· Clause 14 for Group 1
· Clause 15 for Groups 2, 3, 4 & 5
· Clause 16 for Modified
ITEM 3
I have made this suggestion in attempt to give the club the means to better control the pace of juniors for safety reasons and to better control parity with in all groups. Getting parity right will provide closer and more enjoyable racing for both drivers and spectators. If the club can achieve this, the club has a better chance of keeping competitors and growing the club
10.3 The executive committee may use control measures to restrict the performance of any group to maintain safe and fair racing. These control measures may include one or more but not limited to the following:
· Inlet air flow restriction
· RPM limiting
· Throttle limitation
· Weight
