Visa Requirements
- Your original passport, which must be valid at least six months beyond the date the visa application is submitted to the Consulate, and with at least one blank visa page (NOTE: amendment pages do not count as visa pages).
- A completed Visa Application with your original signature.
- One standard passport-size front-face light or white background photo. Passport photos can be taken at Walgreens or license centers.
- Need a photocopy of the first page of your passport.
- For foreigners who have visited China before, submit a photocopy of the old China visa can expedite the process.
- For tourist visas, a copy of your flight itinerary and China hotel reservations is needed. The reservations must match the list on item 2.5 on your visa application form.
- For visiting friends or family visas (normally this type of visa is for overseas Chinese only), an invitation letter from your inviter is needed. The inviter must be a Chinese person. The letter shall be written in Chinese and it shall clearly state inviter’s name, your relationship, phone number and address in China; invitee’s name and date of birth, gender, and passport number. A copy of the Chinese inviter’s identification card (or passport) is also required.
- An applicant born in China who is applying for a China visa with his/her new foreign passport is required to submit his/her original and photocopy of Chinese passport, or a photocopy of the China visa in his/her old foreign passport.
- A child (under 21) of Chinese descent and born in foreign country who applies for a China visa for the first time is required to submit his/her Birth Certificate and a photocopy of his/her parents’ foreign passports or foreign permanent resident permits (e.g. Green Card).

- Standard Service (charges below including Consulate processing fee and our service charge), approximate delivery time is 10-workday. We will call you to pick up your visa upon receiving your passport back from the Chinese Consulate, or mail it to your home, whichever you prefer.

- As a value-added service, Dailey Travel LLC will get our customers multiple-entry one-year visas wherever possible at no additional cost to our customers.
- Business visa is $215/per applicant. A Chinese company’s invitation letter and your own company’s authorization letter are required in addition to all other documents.
- 2-day expedite service is available at an addition cost of $35 per applicant.
Important Information to Know
- The Consulate General of China will normally keep your passport for 5 working days.
- The Consulate General of China will be closed for Chinese holidays that are different from the American public holiday schedule. In such cases, please allow extra time for visa processing.
- The application for a visa may be declined if the applicant fails to provide true and complete information on the visa application form. The applicant shall bear all the consequences.
