Abstract.This document provides information and instructions for preparing the definitive paperso that it can be included in the Proceedings of the International Conference on Innovation in Higher Education. It is imperative to follow the style indicated, so as to ensure a uniform appearance in the Conference Proceedings. The instructions described in this format are followed herein, and therefore it is an example in itself that could be used as a template when writing your final paper.

The wordAbstractshall be written in bold, non-italicized type at the beginning of line one. The text included in the abstract shall be written in italics, justified, and vertically spaced 12 pt from the keywords, as shown in this document.

The abstract mustnotexceed200 words in length.

  1. INTRODUCTION

The paper size is A4 (210 x 297 mm). The presentation shall have a top margin of 3.5 cm., a bottom margin of 2.5 cm., a left margin of 3.5 cm.,and a right margin of 2.5 cm.The submitted paper shall have no headings or pagination whatsoever.

The maximum length admitted for publication in the proceedingsshall be8 pages per accepted paper, following the format specified in this document. The minimum length shall be6 pages.

  1. PAGE ONE

Page one should contain the Title, Author(s), Author information, Keywords, and the Abstract. The Introduction should begin on the same page, following the format of this template.

2.1.Title

The title shall be centered, written in 16 ptTimes New Roman[1] boldface, all upper-case letters and with no indentation. If the title occupies several lines, they shall be single-spaced.

2.2.Authors

The authors shall sign with their full first name (not the initial) and last name(s) (see the heading of this document). The names shall be centered and written in 12 pt Times boldface, 12 pt below the title.

2.3.Author information

The author information should be centered and written in 11 (10.95) pt Times New Roman, 12 pt below the list of authors. The school and university details can be grouped together when they are common to several authors.

2.4.Keywords

Please write no more than six keywords. They should be written left aligned, in 12 pt Times New Roman, and the line shall begin with the wordKeywordswritten in boldface.

An abstract of the paper shall be included within the text body. 12 pt Timesitalics shall be used for the abstract.

  1. FIRST-LEVEL SECTION HEADINGS

The main section headings of the document shall be written left aligned, in 12 pt Times New Roman, all uppercase letters. Leave a 12 pt blank space above each section heading and a 6 pt blank space below each section heading.

Each section heading shall be numbered.

All sections, including notes andreferences, shall be numbered sequentially.

3.1.SECOND-LEVEL SECTION HEADINGS

Thesecond-level section heading shall be written left aligned, in 12 pt Times New Roman boldface, with only the first letter capitalized in Times New Roman font.

Second-level section headings shall be numbered "1.1.", "1.2.", "1.2.1.", and so on.

  1. TEXT

Plain text shall be written single spaced, justified, and in a single column, using 12 pt (Times New Roman), with no additional spacing between paragraphs.

  1. FIGURES AND GRAPHS

The resolution of the figures should be of high quality. Each figure and/or graph shallcarry the title‘Figure’ and becorrelatively numbered: ‘Figure 1’, and so on.

Figure captions shall be centered, writtenin 10 pt Times New Roman using italicized uppercase and lowercase letters.

  1. TABLES

All tablesshall be numbered consecutively and must have their corresponding caption. Table captions shall be centered, written in 10 pt Times New Roman using italicized uppercase and lowercase letters.

  1. FORMAT FOR REFERENCES

In the text, references shall be cited in APA format, stating the last name of the main author and the year in parentheses. All the references will appear together at the end of the text in alphabetical order, as shown at the end of these instructions.

  • The format for references will be 12 pt Times with justified alignment. The title of the reference shall be written initalicsand shall be the same as the source. The source (publisher, journal or conference), year of publication, number of pages, and ISBN or ISSN shall be stated for each reference.
  • Example of reference format for a book is that used in Garrison, Schoenbach & Kaplan (1985).
  • Example of reference format for an article in Sprey (1988).
  • You can find APA reference format examples at (references to web pages shall be included in the text and in italics).
  1. CONCLUSIONS

These are some of the final instructions:

  • Papers shall be sent electronically to the Submission of paperssection of the virtual conference management platform.
  • Papers shall be written in accordance with the instructions of the templates available at the conference web page
  • The final papers must be converted intoPortable Document Format (PDF) before being sent to the Conference.
  • At least one of the authors must register and pay the registration fee in order for the paper to be included in the Program and the Conference Proceedings.
