The Industry Trust is the UK film, TV and video industry’s consumer education body, promoting the value of copyright and creativity. Its consumer awareness programmes address the on-going challenge of film and TV copyright infringement by inspiring audiences to value great movie moments and choose to watch film, TV and video via legitimate sources.
The British Association for Screen Entertainment (BASE) formerly the BVA, is a leading trade body established to champion the interests of the screen entertainment category in the UK. We inform the category and represent its interests collectively to: the public, the media, Government and other industry organisations.
Industry Trust and BASE members span major film and television companies as well as cinema operators and retailers as well as a host of broader stakeholders across the video category.
This exciting role will drive the execution of a host of category driving marketing initiatives and will support sister organisation the Digital Entertainment Group Europe (DEGE).
Position Summary:
- Executing a host of marketing and consumer engagement initiatives across all projects that link to point of purchase and encourages consumption of legal content
- Working to develop category level marketing initiatives to further support the promotion of legitimate content and drives positive behaviour
- Overseeing the media relationships and partnerships to ensure maximum reach and awareness for all activity
- Content creation for owned marketing initiatives
- Day to day management of FindAnyFilm and its technical partners
- Leading the Marketing Committees of the Trust and BASE
- Provide exceptional support to the Industry Trust, BASE, DEGE and their respective members.
Key Deliverables:
➢Manage the development of Moments Worth Paying For content, including content negotiations with studios, creative development, production and delivery, marketing, communications and budgets
➢Working collaboratively with the PR & Social Media Executive, drive media exposure for Moments Worth Paying For campaign, by maximising exposure with media partners and developing new relationships to secure further reach
➢Own key media partnerships to deliver on going campaign and project support, to include internal and external reporting
➢Implement brand partnerships which utiliseFindAnyFilm availability database. From structuring deal memos to managing technical aspects of the partnership as well as additional promotion/marketing
➢Manage creation and implementation of category level marketing initiatives projects across BASE, from projects such as cross industry gifting campaigns and media promotions such as Movieweekender and chart sponsored promotional activity
➢Work collaboratively with the Communications Manager and PR & Social Media Executive to ensure that marketing plans are delivered with joined up communications and social support
➢Manage FindAnyFilm operations, covering the maintenance and development programme working alongside its technical partners
➢Own and drive actions from Marketing Committees of both organisations
➢Create and deliver performance presentations and project evaluations across all activities
➢Support the wider organisation via contributions to projects that require digital expertise across both marketing and technology.
➢Support the Head of Communications and Marketing to execute highly effective marketing initiatives.
Key Skills:
➢Proven experience with consumer marketing and engagement campaigns
➢Experience making data-driven marketing decisions using insight, market research and analytical tools
➢Strong experience managing technical teams and the development of websites and application projects
➢Accountable and professional, driven by achieving measureable and influential outcomes
➢Proven ability to structure and manage projects, delivering on time, in budget and often in support of wider organisational deliverables and objectives
➢Proven experience in managing web development and technical agencies
➢Excellent interpersonal skills and strong experience managing internal and external stakeholders
➢Team player, self-starter, solutions-focused and able to manage multiple projects
➢Understanding of business models, consumer behaviours and the opportunities and challenges driving the video sector
➢PC proficient with good Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint and Word skills
➢Excellent presentation skills
➢Extremely adaptable to change and ability to execute activity quickly and effectively.
