Your mission is to learn as many facts as you can to create a colonial shop, be able to explain about colonial life, tell the events leading to the American Revolution, and complete this packet to participate in Colonial Days. You will speak as they did in the 18th Century (1700s) by using a colonial English accent and some old English words. You will wear 18th century clothes while you work alone or with a partner to present all there is to know about “ye shoppe”. The items that you complete on the list below will prepare you to participate in our Colonial Days history adventure. Tis no time like the present to getteth started.
Your colonial project grade will be based on points. You may receive 1 full point for each item below that is completed well. Most assignments have easy directions for you to do at home or at school. Be sure you finish all other schoolwork on time, too. You may ask for help from students, your teacher, Ms. Phelan, or your parents when needed.
