Vision Statement
The BozemanSunrise Rotary Club, whose diverse membership is 100% engaged, will be
valued and recognized for its service.
Mission Statement
The Bozeman Sunrise Rotary Club works to improve our local and broader communities
through service projects, monetary assistance, and cooperation with others while fostering fellowship, international understanding, and personal growth.
Five-Year Goals
Membership:
- Increase membership by 5% net, per year.
- Formalize member retention program.
- Revise and formalize membership process.
- Provide members with more Rotary information.
- Enhance new member involvement program (Club Administration).
- Enhance new member development process.
- Focus on Rotary International membership dates/activities.
Club Administration:
- Develop and enhance stimulating, entertaining and informational programs.
- Maintain financially viable club.
- Conduct annual goal review.
- Increase average annual attendance to 85%.
- Increase annual club fundraising to:
- Minimum of $50,000 in 2007-2008 Rotary Year.
- Increase by 10% annually during succeeding four-years.
- Create eight (8) fellowship activities annually.
- Create one social activity annually with Rotary Clubs in Gallatin and ParkCounties.
- Charter one (1) new club within five (5) years.
- Create a program for recognizing member service, including TRF awards.
Public Relations:
- Formalize Public Relations Committee.
- Establish a regular media presence.
- Increase the club activities and information in website newsletter.
The Rotary Foundation:
- Establish club foundation committee.
- Continue as The Rotary Foundation (TRF) Sustaining Club
- Formalize Group Study Exchange (GSE) Committee.
- Increase The Rotary Foundation education.
Service Projects:
Community Service Committee:
- Final revisions/upgrades to EastGallatinPark plan.
- Scope, schedule and implement construction projects to phase in EastGallatinPark plan.
- Broaden project participation to include member families when appropriate
- Develop criteria for evaluating and implementing other community service projects.
- Develop projects which have broad based community participation.
International Service Committee
- Develop and implement with an International Club a continuing, successful, cooperative international project that provides face-to-face contact.
- Increase committee members to 20 in 2007-2008 Rotary Year.
- Promote committee projects (PR Committee)
- Continue to partner with local organizations that have an international focus.
- Establish opportunities for frequent member face-to-face interaction with foreign nationals.
Rotaract/Interact Committee
- Formalize committee
- Evaluate and develop educational programs as appropriate
- Work cooperatively on a community service project.
Vocational Service Committee:
- Broaden project participation to include member families when appropriate.
- Undertake more hands-on projects that create greater member participation.
- Participate with Club International Committee in literacy programs.
- Develop more programs that involve high school student career planning.
- Establish partnerships with organizations undertaking similar projects.
