CLASSES 5, 6, 9, & 12 QUALIFIERS FOR THE HORSEWARE NATIONAL HUNTER TRIAL SERIES
All Hunter Trial classes open to members and non-members
ARENA COURSE starting at 9.30am.
These classes will be held in the show jumping arena over a working hunter type course which will be
as rustic as possible. The tetrathlon courses will include a slip rail.
CLASS 1Clear round 45cm Entry fee £5 payable on day
CLASS 2TETRATHLON CLASSES A & Bat 45cm, enter via Tetrathlon schedule
CLASS 3 Clear round 55cm Entry fee £5 payable on day
CLASS 4 TETRATHLON CLASSES C & D at 55cm, enter via Tetrathlon schedule

ENTRY FEES:Classes 5 & 8 £25 per pair
Classes 6, 9 & 12 Pony Club members£17, non members £20
First Aid fee of £4 to be added for each rider
ROSETTES:Rosettes to highest placed Easton Harriers members and rosettes to 10thplace in all classes.
ENTRIES CLOSE:Thursday 30thMarch. We will try to give out times for each round as this system worked well
at our Autumn Hunter Trial. Late entries£3 extra per class (excluding classes 1-4), only if room allows.
COURSE:The course may be walked from 2pm on Saturday1stApril 2017

RULES
1. AGES:Rider’s age taken as of 1st January 2017.
2. TIME:Winner will be nearest to the optimum time. Times, distances and speeds will be on the course plan.
3. Pony Club rules 2017will be applied throughout.
- Hats must be to one of the following standards:
PAS 015 1998 or2011 with BSI kitemark, Snell E2001 with the official Snell label and number, AS/NZS 3838 1998, AS/NZS 3838 2003 or 2006; VG1 with BSI Kitemark or ASTM-F1163 2004a with the SEI mark.
Hats should be tagged with either a white Pony Club hat tags and/or a red BE hat tag.
For Cross-country riding over fences 80cm and higher a jockey skull cap with no fixed peak must be worn. It is strongly recommended that a jockey skull cap is worn for cross country riding over lower fences.
Body protectors must be worn on the cross country course. Body Protectors must comply with PC rules and carry aBETA 2009 Level 3 (purple) tag. Please see PC website for more details on rulings.
No head cams may be worn.
5. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
6. HEALTH AND SAFETY. The organisers have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of
everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions avoid and
prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of officials and stewards.
7. No stop watches allowed.
8. Medical Arm Bands must be worn by all competitors.
Hats and Medical Arm Bands must be brought to the secretary for inspection when collecting numbers.
All competitors must supply their own number bibs.
Medical armbands and number bibs can be purchased from saddlery shops.
