Cali Bamboo Expands Eco-Engineered™ Flooring Line
In response to growing customer demand, green building industry leader,Cali Bamboois adding four new floors to its collection ofEco-Engineered™ bamboo flooring. Engineered planks are often a strategic choice, making beautiful hardwoods suitable for even high-moisture and below-grade spaces like bathrooms, kitchens, and basements. These four new floors provide more options for every style preference and installation need. The entire Eco-Engineered™ flooring line includes both bamboo and cork planks, and is sold at through select dealers.
Each of the following new floors features an extra thick 3/16” Fossilized® bamboo wear layer, a 13-coat scratch resistant finish, highly versatile tongue-and-groove milling, distressed surfaces, and subtle hand-scraping.
Boardwalk Wide
Already a popular color in the solid bamboo flooring collection, Boardwalk is an entirely new addition to the Eco-Engineered™ line. Reminiscent of weathered driftwood with warm brown undertones, this color answers the growing demand for grey flooring options.
Boardwalk Wide+
Featuring the same popular Boardwalk color but with a 30% wider plank, the Wide+ option makes a space look bigger and more modern. Planks are 7 ½” wide versus the typical 5 ½” Wide plank or the 3 ¾” Standard plank. Wide+ is Cali Bamboo’s most expansive plank to date and creates a striking visual anchor.
Antique Java Wide
Consistently Cali Bamboo’s top-selling color, the Wide option is new to the Eco-Engineered™ collection, which previously included Antique Java in only Wide+.
Catalina Wide
A lighter variation on the gray flooring trend, Catalina is now available in the Wide plank option in addition to Wide+.
