Dear Virtual Radiology:
I am looking for a new position in 2011. A local hospital group, Mobile Infirmary, switched to virtual radiology because of their superior nuclear credentialing and they are very happy with VRC. Therefore, I am particularly interested in VRC.
I have state licenses in MD, MA, AL, LA, TX, CA; inactive, NJ, PA, NY; not renewedMS, CT TN. I am board certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine with extensive experience in MRI, nuclear medicine including PET/CT, and general radiology.
I have read 4 to 5 thousand MRI's (musculoskeletal and neuroradiology) in addition to over 1000 PET/CT's (head and neck, lung, lymphoma, leukemia, breast, colon with occasional melanoma, thyroid, prostrate, ovarian, etc.) and numerous oncology CT's. I also have performed arthograms. Over the last 3 years, I have attended MSK MRI conferences by Clyde Helms, David Stoller, and University of Ottawa (Mark Schweitzer). Also, attended University of Ottawa cardiopulmonary conference. I have also attended the University of Utah (Ann Osbourne) neuroradiology conference. In addition, I attended 3 out of the last 4 Society of Nuclear Medicine conferences with special emphasis on PET/CT.
Prior to my current position, I was Associate Professor of Diagnostic Radiology, Director of Nuclear Medicine for the University of South Alabama for 5 years. I have extensive nuclear medicine experience including research in radiolabeled monoclonal antibodies.
Earlier, I worked for Ochsner Clinic Baton Rouge performing outpatient radiology including oncology CT and PET with manual fusion.
I am looking forward to hearing from you in the near future. Please contact me at or 251-621-5262.
Sincerely,
Gary M. Levine, MD, MSE, ABR, ABNM
