POSITION TITLE: Head Baseball Coach/Football Assistant

Teaching Field: High School Social Studies or High School Science

LOCATION: Paul H. Pewitt High School

SALARY RANGE: State Base plus $2,000 + $4,000 coaching stipend + 15 extra days

Length of Work Year: 202 days

Position Summary: Perform duties associated with High School Social Studies or Science Department and Athletics under the auspices of the High School Principal and the Athletic Director.

Position Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited College

Experience: Successful classroom teaching experience/coaching preferred

Licenses/Other: Hold valid Texas Teaching Certificate in high school social studies or science

Illustrative Duties:

·  Must be able to teach High School Social Studies or Science

·  Must be familiar with classroom management techniques

·  Must be familiar with coaching techniques and strategies.

·  Maintain all records and documentation required by TEA and local Administration

·  Perform other duties as assigned by campus Administration

·  Work cooperatively with other staff
