RECRUIT A MEMBER PROMOTIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Instructions on how to enter form part of these conditions.
  1. Subject to Condition 4, the competition is open to all financial members of the Union who are resident in Western Australia.
  1. Every current Union member who introduces a new member during the promotion period is eligible to enter Draw A and is eligible for an additional entry to Draw B for each new member they introduce. Every current Union member is eligible to enter Draw B.
  1. Officers, Committee of Management members, and employees of the Union and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
  1. Entries must be submitted on the HSUWA Application Form.
  1. To enter, send the completed HSUWA Application Form by fax to 9328 9107 or by scan-email to or by mail using the Reply Paid address on the Form. The application to join by the new member must be completed including a completed subscription option. The current Union member must also complete their own details on the form.
  1. The promotion period commences from the 7th December 2016 and closes with the last mail received on 6th December 2017.
  1. There are up to 12 draws with identical prizes in Draw A. The prizes are $250.00 cash. The total prize value is a maximum of $3, 000.00. The number and frequency of the prize draws, will be determined by the HSUWA Secretary.
  1. There is 1 draw in Draw B. The prize is a television and home theatre system. The make and model will be determined by the Union and will have a maximum total approximate value of up to $3,000.00.
  1. For both draws the winner must be a current financial member at the time of the draw. The first valid entry drawn will be the winner.
  1. Subject to Condition 8, the draws for Draw A will take place at the HSUWA Head Office, 8 Coolgardie Terrace, Perth on the second Wednesday of each month.
  1. The draw for Draw B will take place at the HSUWA Head Office, 8 Coolgardie Terrace, Perth HSUWA and be announced at the Annual General Meeting in December 2017.
  1. The winner will be notified by telephone, email or mail. The winners name will be published in the next edition of HSUWA Feedback or other publications after the draw.
  1. The Promoter will conduct such further draws as are necessary to distribute the prize at the HSUWA offices, 8 Coolgardie Terrace, Perth WA, 6000 on the 14th March 2018 if a prize has not been claimed by that date.
  1. The promoter is the Health Services Union of Western Australia (Union of Workers) ABN 944 72768 794 of 8 Coolgardie Terrace Perth WA 6000.
