Comenius Funding Special Edition
Comenius Funding News and Courses at NILE in 2007Dear Friends and Colleagues,
There is still time to apply for Comenius funding to attend a professional development course for teachers, trainers and other ELT professionals at NILE.
If you are a teacher, teacher-trainer or other ELT professional in Europe, you can apply to the European Union for a grant of up to 1500 eurosto attend one of our 2-week training courses. The grant is awarded under the Comenius initiative to cover tuition, accommodation and travel.
NILE's teachers' courses are eligible for Comenius Funding. Please click here to see our full range of specialist courses for 2007.
For those of you not familiar with the Comenius scheme, full details can be found here. The latest phase of the initiative incorporates a number of changes. From 1 January2007, Comenius funding will continue under the new European Life-long Learning Programme (LLP), which will continue to offer teachers and other staff within the school education sector opportunities for international professional development.
A significant change for applicants is the introduction of European-wide deadlines for applications. The deadlines for grant applications for training activities taking place between 1 June 2007 and 30 June 2008 are as follows:
30 March 2007 (for activities from 1 June - 30 September 2007)
30 May 2007 (for activities taking place 1 October 2007 - 31 January 2008)
30 October 2007 (for activities from 1 February - 30 June 2008) /
Scholarship Support and discounts for NILE Courses

Click here to find out more.We are also offering a 10% discount (on the second course) for anyone booking more than one course, AND a 10% discount to returning course participants. (This does not apply to Masters Courses).
