By doing so the Operational Risk team can provide effective challenge, recommendations, oversight, and reporting to aid in reducing losses and events. Members of Operational Risk have the opportunity to bring positive impact to the organization.
The Ideal Fit
The Challenges
We want to review the challenges of the Operational Risk Analyst position so you can make an educated decision if this position is right for you. Your success is important to you, Associated Bank and our customers.
- Operational risk can be difficult to understand and therefore is not always seen as a value-added function.
- Operational risk is a fairly new discipline that is still evolving. At times it can be difficult to make adjustments during the building and maturing phase of the related programs.
- Balancing multiple projects at once can be challenging. It is often necessary for risk analysts to manage multiple programs at once requiring strong time management and prioritization skills.
