Eligibility and Licenses:
All competitors must have a valid and active membership with the Canadian Masters Cross Country Ski Association in order to participate in the 2013 Masters National Championships. Memberships may be purchased through the through your provincial director at will also be available for purchase through the online registration page on the Arrowhead Nordic Ski Club (ANSC) website:
Waivers:
All participants will automatically sign a digital waiver when registering online for the event. Participants registering by mail will sign the event waiver on the registration form. Participants will not be permitted to race without first signing the ANSC waiver.
Race Entry Feesand Deadlines:
$30 per racefor all age categories beforeFebruary 11th,EARLY BIRD RATE
$40 per racefor all age categories from February 12 –25th
$50 per race for all age categories after Feb 26- March 3rd.
All entry fees includelunch on the day of the race
Banquet/Dance on Saturday night: $45 per person
Race Entry Deadline:
Sunday, March 3rd is the closing date for online registrations. Some limited onsite registrations may be accepted after March 3rd depending onavailability. Cash or cheque only. Please confirm availability with the race secretary prior to arriving.
How to Enter:
Registration will open on-line through (with a link to: on December 9, 2012. The Zone 4 system provides the opportunity for participants to confirm that their entry has been received. Please note: Zone 4 only supports VISA and Mastercard. Payment must be made at the time of registration. Banquet and dinner tickets will be available online. Limited tickets will be available on site as well depending on availability. To send in your registration form by mail it must be received in the race office prior to Feb 11 for the early bird rate, Feb 25 for the regular rate and March 3rd for the late rate. Parking:
Parking for the event will be available next to the stadium at the Birches parking lot. There are also two other parking areas within walking distance to the stadium (see venue map at As space can be limited,especially on weekends, we encourage carpooling where possible.
Waxing Facilities:
A waxing hut with electrical outlets is available near the park office at Arrowhead. A waxing tent and generator is available at the venue near the race office and stadium on race mornings.
