Our Payroll Teamcurrently processes the client payroll of approximately 850 clients, dealing with all aspects that affect payroll, from the set-up of PAYE schemes with HMRC through to submitting End of Year P35’s and P14’s. Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and solid payroll experience.

Payroll Administrator

Salary dependent upon qualifications and experience

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll Team. The Payroll Team is responsible for providing payroll services and CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) services to clients of the practice. We have a Payroll Team at our Manchester and Blackburn offices.

Essential knowledge and experience:
  • A proven knowledge of the entire lifecycle of payroll production from PAYE scheme creation to Year End.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to establish good client relationships.
  • Ability to use initiative to problem solve.
  • Ability to prioritise workload around conflicting deadlines.
  • Ability to workas a team player and build effective relationships with all internal departments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products particularly Word and Excel.
Preferred skills:
  • Experience of Sage Payroll Software.
  • Experience of CIS post April 2007.
  • IPP qualified preferred but not essential.
