Act III, scene i.

37. In regard to Artemidorus's request, how does Caesar's nobility doom him?

Well he basically didn’t want any rush. So his guard pushed Artemidorus’s request back. His request seemed so non delaying to him that he was pushing it for Caesar to read, but Caesar wouldn’t. What I believed was that Artemidorus thought that Caesar was already crowned as the king. I also believed so. This scene help me get back on track with Caesar’s positioning. Anyways, since he thought Caesar was king, a king is told to be the noblest man of his whole kingdom. That’s why he is the king, or that’s why he has been appointed.

38. What is Metellus Cimber's petition to Caesar? What is Caesar's response and why does he give this response?

Well basically Metellus Cimber bowed down and was asking for forgiveness for his brother. Caesar said to stop this before his ordinar guards fall into this mystery. He was showing the amount of love and courteousness he has for the king Caesar.

39. What does Brutus instruct the conspirators to do before they go before the public? Why does he instruct them to do this?

Burutus was just checking basically how the plan of Cesar’s murder is going. Thinking about Brutus makes me sometimes think of how cruel people could be. He basically wanted the plan of Cesar’s death to be perfect. At that point, I got many different thoughts about Brutus.

40. What request does Antony's servant bring to Brutus? What is Brutus's response?

If Antony can get a safe trip to Caesar. He also wanted to know why Caesar deserved to be killed. He asked in a curious type of tone.

41. Why does Cassius object to letting Antony speak at Caesar's funeral? What reassurance does Brutus give him?

Cassius didn’t want Antony to speak at the funeral. He was threatening Brutus that if he dares to speak at the funeral of Caesar, he himself was going to turn everybody against him. There are so many problems that could come about if this could happen. I wouldn’t want that to happen.

42. What promise does Antony give Brutus about his funeral speech?

All Brutus really said about the conspirators was that they were not going to be blames about anything. That’s what I think Brutus had rcognized about the conspirators. I didn’t really understand anything else.

43. After being left alone with Caesar's body, what does Antony promise to do?

In the conversation of Brutus and Antony, he was promising that in his speech, there would be nothing going against anybody. Nobody would be blamed for anything, I believe that he was trying to convince Brutus in order to let him speak at the funeral. If I was Brutus I would have let him speak at the funeral. I wouldn’t be scared for Cassius.

Act III, scene ii.

44. What reason does Brutus give for murdering Caesar? What is the crowd's reaction?

The reason that Brutus gave for the murdering of Cesar was simply because he loved other things more than he actually loved Caesar. Caesar wasn’t his final thing to die for, he wasn’t that high of a god to him. There was more things to love for like the city he explained.

45. What final mistake does Brutus make in letting Antony speak?

Antony had basically explained all the positive feelings about Caesar. He explained thatthere was nobody to have gave more, then Caesar. He was the man. In my opinion, he was acting as if he didn’t know who did the actual murder of Caesar. His words made him a really good actor.

46. Why does Antony read Caesar's will to the people?

All the conspirators didn’t want to read his will. I don’t know why, but for some reason I believe that they were scared, or they believed that they feel abandoned by the people or even in some cases by Caesar. This is why Antony was appointed to read his will. I still felt a little shaky when I read this.

47. At the end of the scene, what are the fates of Brutus and Cassius?

Well basically they never planned this part out. The conspirators were threatening them because of what had happened. They were going to commiti things that they couldn’t even think of. They didn’t want Brutus and Cassius to ever live again. They wanted them dead and this made everybody upset. I believe that Brutus and Cassius were then scared about what was going to happen to them. There was just too many people going against them.

Act III, scene iii.

48. What is the significance of this scene?

In this scene I basically received that Cinna was madly in love of Caesar. Her heart was broken after the incident. I also got from this scene that after a while, a man was killed because of some reason. Everything was going wrong. After Caesar died everything that I suspected that was going to happen came out negative. I don’t know what’s going to happen next?
