Summer 2012 – Enrollment Request Form

Please indicate which courses you would like to enroll in for this program. All students must enroll in a minimum of 10 units and HUM 295 for either 0 or 1 unit. This form must be turned in with your contract. You will be able to add/drop from your courses should you decide to take a different course.

The following courses are offered over a one-month period:

_____ HUM 212 – Western Culture II (Western Heritage GE), 3 units, prerequisite of HUM 111

_____ HUM 313 – Western Culture III (Western Heritage GE), 3 units, prerequisite of HUM 212

_____ REL 301 – Christianity and Culture (Christianity and Culture GE), 3 units, prerequisite of REL 101

_____ ENG 380 – Literature in Translation (Literature GE), 4 units, prerequisite of ENG 101

_____ FA 240 – Introduction to Art and Architecture (Fine Arts GE), 3 units

_____ HIST 304 – History of the American People (American Experience GE), 4 units

_____ HIST 390 – History of the Modern Middle East, 4 units (students cannot take both REL 102

and HIST 390)

The following courses are offered over the two-month period and are taught by the Malibu Faculty:

_____ PSYC 452 – Psychology and Religion (REL 301 GE), 3 units

NOTE: PSYC 452 will begin in Florence in the month of May and finish in Heidelberg in the month

of June; it will fulfill the REL 301 GE requirement

_____ REL 102 – The History and Religion of Early Christianity (GE), 3 units, prerequisite of REL 101

NOTE: REL 102 will begin in Heidelberg in the month of May and finish in Florence in the month

of June

0 or 1 HUM 295 – Enriching the International Experience, 0-1 unit

Students will begin in either Florence or Heidelberg based on their course enrollment requests. If you have a strong preference as to where you want to begin, please indicate that below and your reasoning. We will give careful consideration of preference, but we cannot guarantee where you will be placed first as we must give priority to class registration requests. Continue on back if needed.
