RRISD Spring Choral Festival- Austin Park and Pizza
Friday, May 19th
Attention 6th grade Choir Students and Parents-
On Friday, May 19th the 6th grade Walsh Choir will be competing at the RRISD Spring Choral Festival held at Austin Park and Pizza. Since this event costs money, it is optional; however, since we are competing, it is important that almost everyone who is able attends. 6th graders who participate in this event should wear their choir shirt and jeans to school. They will attend 1st and 2nd period as usual, meet in the choir room for the start of 3rd period, and depart campus at 10:30 am. The performance schedule has not yet been posted by the district. Choir members and parents will be advised of competition times once the schedule is released.
The kids will get to eat the buffet of unlimited pizza, pasta, salad, and dessert buffet, with unlimited fountain drinks, coffee, & Tea) and take advantage of unlimited attractions including bumper boats, go carts (2 Tracks…both a Road track and the New Slick Track), mini golf, laser tag, climbing wall, and little shot gravity drop, roller coaster, and 3 New Carnival Rides. Choir students can have the fun they can stand until 5pm. Parents, please be prepared to pick your child up from Austin Park and Pizza as we are NOT taking a bus back to Walsh. Should a parent need to pick their child up sooner than 5pm, please e-mail me to make arrangements. The cost of this trip is $30 for students and $10 for Chaperones. This covers the cost of the bus to the event, the competition judges and trophy, buffet, and all of the activities. Please return the form below along with festival fees by Thursday, April 27th if your child or you will be participating in the Round Rock ISD Choral Festival.
