Training Proposal

I’m writing to request support and approval to enroll in the Institute of Finance and Management’s {NAME OF PROGRAM} Program to earnmy designation as a certified professional. Because regulations and processes are always changing, it’s more important than ever that I stay current in order to ensure our payables processes are streamlined.

Through certification, I can get the information I need to bring me up to speed on current best practices and help me work through our {Accounts Payable/Procurement} problems rather than around them. By becoming certified Iwill develop a firm grasp of the fundamentals, a thorough understanding of best practices, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance, all of which are necessary to excel in my current position and help build our department to be best-in-class.

The program starts with the fundamentals and goes all the way to the advanced nuances of {AP/P2P}, but in particular I feel that certification can help in benefit these projects:

I know our schedules are tight and it’s hard to find time for additional training, but IOFM’s certification programs were developed to be flexible. The program is offered entirely online, so I’ll be able to take the prep class, study, and take the exam at my own pace, and at times that won’t conflict with my other responsibilities.

A Practice Exam

And a 90-minute 100-question Exam to Earn
Which I will need an 80% or higher to pass and have 3 attempts to do so.

In order to maintain the designation I earn,I’ll need to complete 15 hours of continuing educationannually, which will help me stay up to date with the latest compliancy regulations and technologies, and IOFM offers many opportunities to earn those credits (most at no cost).
