CANTEEN NEWS TERM 1
New items have been added to our already exciting, healthy menu. These new additions are listed below with some useful information about each item.
Please note the dates each item will be introduced as this will avoid disappointment when ordering.
All the following items comply with the fresh tastes NSW healthy school canteen strategy.
*JUICE BOMBS $2.50 AMBER ITEM
Juice bombs are an unsweetened 99.9% fruit drink in a 250ml can which has been lightly carbonated. It has no artificial colours or flavours, no added sugar and is rich in vitamin c. This item will be introduced in Week 6.
*BBQ PORK HOKKIEN NOODLES $4.50 GREEN ITEM J
Stir fried Hokkien noodles with BBQ pork. This item will be introduced in Week 5.
*BEEF LASAGNE $4.50 GREEN ITEM J HALAL
This beef lasagne was introduced in Week 4 and the students have informed me it’s delicious!
*MACARONI & CHEESE $4.00 GREEN ITEM J
This item was introduced in Week 4 and the students have informed me it’s yummy!
*TERIYAKI CHICKEN & BOILED RICE $4.80 GREEN ITEM J HALAL
Stir fried chicken breast in a teriyaki sauce served with boiled rice. This item will be introduced in Week 8.
*CHICKEN BURGER $4.50 AMBER ITEM HALAL
The chicken burger will consist of a 96% fat free chicken breast patty with lettuce and low fat mayo on a bun. This item will be introduced in Week 7.
*SKIN FREE 98% FAT FREE CHICKEN BREAST AMBER ITEM HALAL
This product will be added to our chicken salad boxes. This item will be introduced in Week 8.
*BULLA VANILLA ICE CREAM CUPS $2.00 AMBER ITEM
100ml vanilla ice cream cup which is 98% fat free. Available now.
*BULLA MOSHI MONSTER CHOC POPS $1.50 AMBER ITEM
Similar to a chocolate paddle pop. Available now.
*SALT N VINEGAR CRINKLES $1.50 AMBER ITEM
Available now.
*MINI CHOC CHIP COOKIES $1.20 AMBER ITEM
Available now.
*Please note: If any student has forgotten their lunch or they have dropped it during lunch time, they will be sent to the office to contact their guardian. Once the guardian has given permission for the student to receive lunch from the canteen they will then be given an order. Payment must be made to the canteen the following day.
