(2) Identify correct interpretation of musical styles. / Performer will learn a variety of musical styles through creative programming. / 100% of the 8 students performed variety of musical styles. / Expose students to a more difficult level of repertoire through varied programming.
(3) Employ better listening and blending skills. / Performer will demonstrate blending skills 80% of the time via a quartet test and final performance. / 100% of the 8 students employed better listening and blending skills during a test and performance. / Rehearse and perform in various part configurations.
(4) Use better performance practices and rehearsal techniques. / Performers will demonstrate through successful quartet test and performance with 90% success. / 90% of the 8 students used better performance practices. / Possibly offering more testing opportunities on the programmed materials.
(5) Prepare music for public performances. / Performers will demonstrate through successful performance with 90% success. / 99% of the 8 students performed a successful public performance. / Schedule additional performances throughout the semester.
