1-  SYNOPTIC SITUATION:

i.  Yesterday’s trough of westerly wave over Afghanistan has moved northeastward and today lies

over Northeast Afghanistan and adjoining Pakistan.

ii. Seasonal low lies over North Balochistan.

iii.  Moist current is penetrating into Upper & central Punjab and Kashmir.

iv.  Yesterday’s well marked Monsoonal low over Bay of Bengal has moved North- Northwestwards.

2- LOCAL WEATHER FORECAST FOR NEXT 24-HOURS:

Partly cloudy weather with chances of thunderstorm / rain along with strong winds.

3- COUNTRY WIDE WEATHER FORECAST FOR NEXT 24-HOURS:

Rain thundershowers associated with gusty winds is expected at scattered places of Rawalpindi

Islamabad, Gujranwala, Hazara divisions and Kashmir ,while at isolated places in Malakand ,

Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, Mardan, Sargodha, Faisalabad , Sahiwal, Lahore, Kalat, Zhob divisions,

FATA, lower Sindh and Gilgit- Baltistan.
