Everett and Issaquah, WA—Village Theatre announces its Annual Auction & Gala, On the Town with Village Theatre, to support the ongoing development of Village Theatre programs and productions. While in previous years Village Theatre hosted two separate Gala events at its theatre spaces in Issaquah and Everett, this year the theatre is moving the Gala to the beautiful, centrally-located Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle, and will feature a four-course gourmet dinner, complete with fine wines. Serving as auctioneer is the dynamic Emmy Award-winning broadcast personality, John Curley, star of KING-5 TV’s Evening Magazine. This event will help raise vital funds that enable the theatre to achieve the following:

• Fund the growth of Village Theatre’s KIDSTAGE and Pied Piper youth education programs that serve over 54,000 young people, families, and schools annually;

• Further our commitment to the development of new musicals with their creators as a part of Village Theatre’s nationally-recognized Village Originals program—70 new musicals and counting!

• Offer ticket and tuition discounts to students, youth, seniors, and active military to keep ticket prices and programs affordable.

• Bridge the gap between ticket prices and the actual cost to produce Broadway-quality Mainstage productions.
