These will be open through December and will be voted on then.
Reminder : If you decide to be a director we really appreciate your participation in the meetings. Meeting participation is down and we need to discuss what to do to get more participation in the group meetings. There is a rule we need 8 voting members to conduct business.
Jill asked the new directors to come fourth with accurate email and contact information to ensure all correspondents are up to date.
Shawn is planning to step down
Alicia plans to bid again for treasurer, same as last year ($150 per month and a membership)
Katie will not be doing finals secretary next year. Jill will bid that with the secretary position for 2016 year. ($600 monthly and a membership)
No other interest has been voiced for these positions. It will remain open until Dec. Meeting and positions will be voted in.
Shawn asked for nominations for the President
David nominated JoJo for President. By a show of hands in aggreeance, Jojo will be President of the MRA.
David S Nominated Mikey Loiseau for Vice President/Jojo 2nd it.
Scott nominated Ron Skovly for Vice President, he declined.
Jeremy nominated Terry M, he declined.
By a show of hands, Mikey was accepted as vice President.
Lacey MM to have the PR director position be held by the standing queen/Sharon 2nd it. Motion carried.
Rules and Bylaws: Shawn Manee, Greg Caron, Jill Scott, Sharon Munn, Scott Berends
Rule book on page 5, as a continuation of the section titled “Amendment Procedure”.
Enforcement of all new rules, by-laws and amendments passed by the Board of Directors, will begin in the competition year following the year in which the rule was approved by the Board of Directors. No rule, by-law or amendment shall be made so as to be effective during the current rodeo year unless approved by an 85% majority vote of the Board of Directors at a board meeting.
This rule has been in print since last meeting in October 2015

Shawn reminded contestants of little improvements that can be made. No victory lap will be made on Sunday at the performance.
