Carlo Ventre

Carlo Ventre, born in Montevideo (Uruguay), won the prize ‘Gino Bechi’ at the Francisco Viñas in Barcellona and the ‘Pavarotti Voice Competition’ in Philadelphia. Among his teachers we mention Gino Bechi, Magda Olivero and Carlo Cossutta.

Carlo Ventre made his operatic debut in 1994 when he performed as Duca in Rigoletto at La Scala di Milano under the baton of Riccardo Muti.

He has been several times at the Arena di Verona covering the roles of Cavaradossi in Tosca, Radames in Aida, Pinkerton in MadamaButterfly, Don José in Carmen and Calaf in Turandot.

In 2011 he made his debut at the Royal Opera House in London and at the Staatsoper in Monaco with Aida and at the Opéra Bastille in Paris with Tosca. In addition, between the end of 2011 and 2012 he made his debut in Verdi’s Otello, in the title role, in Frankfurt, Des Grieux in Manon Lescaut in Hamburg, and Maurizio in Adriana Lecouvreur in Barcelona.

In 2012 he won the first prize "Radames" from the Verona Opera association for his performance of the role at the Arena.

After the success in Manon Lescaut in Hamburg, Aida in Tokyo and Fanciulla del West in Frankfurt, in 2013 he returns to the Arena as Manrico in Il trovatore, in Aida and for the prestigious Verdi Gala.

The commitments of the second part of 2013 involve a series of Verdi’s concerts in Barcelona and Otello in Bordeaux. In 2014 he was in Milan for Il trovatore, in Frankfurt for La Fanciulla del West, in Verona for Turandot, Aida and Carmen, in Bari for Il Tabarro, in Palermo for Tosca, in Frankfurt for Otello. In 2015 he returns to Hamburg for La Fanciulla del West, he sings in Tosca in Leipzig, Don Carlos in Bordeaux and Bilbao, Turandot at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples.

2016 engagements include Tosca in Turin, Andrea Chénier in Tokyo, Il trovatore in Berlin, Madama Butterfly in Avenches, Aida, Carmen and Turandot at the Arena di Verona, Otello in Dusseldorf, Turandot in Bari.

Yusif Eyvazov

Yusif Eyvazov was born in Algiers and moved to Italy where he completed his advanced studies with renowned tenor Franco Corelli and soprano Ghena Dimitrova.

Yusif Eyvazov kicks off his season 16/17 with a series of concerts in Hamburg, Cologne, Sochi, Budapest and Moscow, joining stage with Anna Netrebko. He then returns to the Bolshoi Theatre in October as Des Grieux (Manon Lescaut). The season will then be shaped by several house- and role debuts including Macduff (Macbeth) at Bayerische Staatsoper, the title role of Andrea Chenier at the Prague Opera and Maurizio (Adriana Lecouvreur) at the Mariinsky Theatre.

Further concerts will lead him to Paris, Muscat, Calgary and Toronto. He is appearing on Anna Netrebko’s new recording “Verismo”, released by Deutsche Grammophon.

In 2015/16 season, Yusif Eyvazov made a series of important debuts. He started in the Los Angeles Opera production of I Pagliacci conducted by Plácido Domingo, made his debut at the Metropolitan Opera singingCalaf in Turandot and then also appeared for the first time at both the Paris Opera and at theStaatsoper Berlin in Il Trovatore. His debut came at the Salzburg Festival in the summer of 2016 performing Manon Lescaut. On the concert stageundertook a major concert tour throughout Asia alongside Anna Netrebko in the spring of 2016.

Yusif Eyvazov’s other recent performances include Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana with the Symphony Orchestra LaVerdi in Milan, Radames in Aida for Opera Fiesole and the Teatro dell’ Opera di Roma, Cavaradossi in Tosca at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, the title role of Verdi’s Otello for the Ravenna Music Festival, Manon Lescaut (Des Grieux) alongside Anna Netrebko at the Teatro dell’ Opera in Rome under the baton of Riccardo Muti, and Canio in I Pagliacci at Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, Italy under the baton Paolo Carignani.

FABIO SARTORI

Born in Treviso, he graduated in singing at the Conservatoire Benedetto Marcello in Venice, under the guidance of M. Leone Magiera. In 1996 he debuted in LA BOHÈME at La Fenice of Venice.

He took part in the opening of season 1997-98 at Teatro alla Scala, in MACBETH under M. Riccardo Muti’s conduction. He later returned there to perform in Verdi’s MESSA DI REQUIEM, again with M.Riccardo Muti. During the same season he sang in the opening productions of La Fenice of Venice and of Teatro Comunale of Bologna. In 1998 he debuted in two important Verdi roles: Gabriele Adorno in SIMON BOCCANEGRA at Teatro Comunale of Bologna and the one in DON CARLO, again in Bologna and at Teatro Regio of Parma.

He debuted in SIMON BOCCANEGRA in Berlin in 1999,under M. Claudio Abbado’s baton. In the same year he debuted at the Vienna Staatsoper in LINDA DI CHAMOUNIX, and at the Chicago Lyric Opera in I CAPULETI E I MONTECCHI.

In 2009 he returned to Teatro Alla Scala in I DUE FOSCARI and he sang in SIMON BOCCANEGRA in Zurich, Berlin and Vienna.

Recently he sang in SIMON BOCCANEGRA in Berlin, Milan Barcelona and Madrid, with ADRIANA LECOUVREUR in Florence, in a tour to Buenos Aires with Teatro alla Scala with Verdi’s MESSA DI REQUIEM. He sang ATTILA in Milan and China, in concert with M° Zubin Mehta and the Orchestra of Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Mombay, debuted in I MASNADIERI at Zurich Opernhaus and in NORMA in Las Palmas and in Rome. During Verdi celebrations in 2013 he had a great success in OBERTO CONTE DI SAN BONIFACIO at the Teatro alla Scala, AIDA at the Arena di Verona and DON CARLO, again in Milan and Zurich. Considerable his participation in Verdi's Messa da Requiem conducted by Gianandrea Noseda in a Tournee with Teatro Regio in Turin at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, as well as a new production of TOSCA, conducted by Daniel Barenboim at the Staatsoper in Berlin. Regular guest at the Teatro alla Scala, he returned there with SIMON BOCCANEGRA (even in tour in Taipei, Seoul and Moscow) and AIDA conducted by Zubin Mehta.

His upcoming engagements include LA BOHÈME at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, AIDA in Verona, SIMON BOCCANEGRA in Milan and Vienna, TOSCA in Barcelona.
