Instructions for College of the Canyons

Welcome to MyPsychLab!

Your instructor has chosen to include MyPsychLab powered by Pegasusin your required learning materials!To register for MyPsychLab you will need:

Your school’s zip code: 91355

A MyPsychLabstudent access code (packaged with your new text)

A valid email address

In addition, your instructor may also provide you with:

A “Course ID”or “Section ID” to use after you’ve registered: ______

Registering for MyPsychLab powered by Pegasus from this portal:

  1. Click on the register button on this screen.
  2. Read the License Agreement and Privacy Policy and click “I Accept.”
  3. On the Access Information Screen, you’ll be asked whether you already have a Pearson Education Account. Click:
  4. “YES” if you have registered for other Pearson online products and already have a login name and password. Boxes will appear for you to enter your existing login information.
  5. “NO” if this is the first time you have registered for a Pearson online product. Boxes will appear for you to create your login name and password.
  6. “NOT SURE” if you want to check for a pre-existing account and receive an email with your login name and password.
  7. Type in your Access Code in the fields provided (one word per field) and click Next.
  8. Simply follow the registration screens and enter your information as prompted. You will enter your name, email address, school information and provide a security question/answer to ensure the privacy of your account.

Once your registration is complete, you will see a Confirmation screen (this information will also be emailed to you). Simply print your confirmation - you are now ready to Log in and access your resources!

Logging into MyPsychLab

  1. You may log into MyPsychlab by returning to
  2. and click on the”login” button and enter your username and password – OR –
  3. Enter in your web browser.
  4. Click the MyPsychLab Pegasus buttonunder Log in.
  5. Enter the Login Name and Password you created and click “Log In.”

If your instructor gave you a Course or Section ID…

If your instructor gave you a Course or Section ID,” you will need to “Enroll in a Course” to allow your instructor to view your results on the assignments & online activities. You may “enroll” as soon as you have your instructor’s ID.

  1. Log in to yourMyPsychLabPegasus course.
  2. Above the “My Courses” window on the left, click on the “Enroll in a Course” button on the top right navigation.
  3. Enter your Class ID (looks like CRSWEM4-279) and click Submit.
  4. Review the course information and confirm by clicking Confirm.
  5. You may then click the Enter Class Now button to immediately access your resources!
