The McTimoneyapproach tochiropractic was developed by the late John McTimoney over 50 years ago. It iswell known for being a gentle, precise, whole body approach to chiropractic care.
I also use massage and dry needling /acupuncture techniques, alongside chiropractic, in the care of my patients.

talks about
Vitamin
Probably one of the most commonly taken supplements,Vitamin Coccurs naturally in citrus fruits and leafy vegetables, tomatoes, potatoes and sweet potatoes. It isan anti-oxidant- meaning that it may help to protect our cells from damage and strengthen the body's ability to fight infection and disease.
When foundin food vitamin C is complexed with bioflavonoids which assist its absorption in the body. Most vitamin C on the market is the isolated molecule of ascorbic acid minus the bioflavonoids. Ascorbic acid can be quite harsh on the stomach in high doses, so many people get on better with vitamin C in its more natural food state - ie. vitamin C + bioflavonoids.
Vitamin C may be especially helpful for people whose diets are low in fruits and vegetables, smokers and those who drink alcohol, anyone with a demanding lifestyle or a high level of physical activity or stress in their lives, or anyone with a need for immune system support or recovery from injury.
Vitamin C can also support enhanced absorption of iron, so is good for anaemia. It issupportive in energy production and adrenal function and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. It is essential for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, teeth and skin.
A qualified nutritional therapist can help you to determine if vitamin C supplementation may be helpful for you, and which brand and dosage may be the most suitable for your needs. Here at the Traditional Acupuncture Centre (TAC) we have two highly informed Nutritional Therapists on our team:Vicki GothamandLucy Bishop. Please contact the TAC for more information either by email on or phone on: 01926 450990.

talks abouther interests outside of TAC
I joined TAC two months ago and am really enjoying being a member of a professional team with the shared goal of supporting clients to achieve and maintain good health and well-being.
Outside of my work here, I enjoy working asan artist. I am a Fine Arts graduate by background and focus on working with ceramic and glass, predominantly to producemosaic artbut occasionally alsostained glasspieces. I have trained under a number of mosaicists, the most prominent being Master Mosaicist Luciana Notturniwhose Mosaic Art School I attended in Ravenna, Italy in January this year.
Mosaic artis a time-consuming but entirely satisfying art form. I often use the analogy of assembling a jigsaw puzzle, but you get to decide what's on the front of the box. You can really lose yourself in the concentration required of mosaic art work, it is a highly tactile art form and requires patience to shape your tesserae and translate a two-dimensional design into a 'fragmented whole.' Mosaics present an opportunity for mindfulness in what can be a frenetic, fast-paced world.
If you would be interested in finding out more about my mosaics or perhaps be interested in commissioning a piece, please feel free to contact me at /
