Membership form
The Wiltshire Bridleways Association was formed in 1970 to preserve, maintain, and register bridleways and byways. At that time there was to be a special review of the Definitive Map for Wiltshire. Under this review many bridleways were in danger of being downgraded to foothpaths. The Association took action to preserve many riding routes.
The Association continues to oppose any closure of riding rights and to initiate claims when supported by documentary and user evidence.
The WBA is affiliated to the British Horse Society
